The Colonel – aka Nigel D Mills
The undisputable leader of the Team whose ideas can sometimes be unorthodox, but effective! Nigel is the key liaison for MBM customers and suppliers, ensuring the Team is co-ordinated and working to a clear plan of action. With way too many years in the IT industry, Nigel has experienced first-hand and up-close the IT changes that have occurred during the last three decades. Working his way through the ranks from computer operator to programmer as well as finding the time to be an instrumental founding member for key professional bodies (UK IT Association and Black Country Chamber of Commerce), Nigel has well and truly earned his rank of ‘The Colonel’. You’ll find The Colonel at his most relaxed, astride his motorbike riding to various business networking events in the region.
The Geek – aka Jason Timmins
Possessing an in-depth technical knowledge of IT that is scary, MBM keeps Jason ‘under the radar’ to ensure he’s not picked up by certain people who might use his skills improperly. With a degree in Computer Science and more certificates & training courses than the average IT expert, Jason excels at providing second-line high quality IT support whilst writing bespoke databases and experimenting with new services & products. A dapper dresser, with key responsibilities for managing their powerful IT Infrastructure, the Team are starting to wonder whether he’s actually real at all and not a virtual version of himself.
The Fixer – aka Craig Banks
As his alias suggests, Craig is in his element when there’s a technical problem to solve – whether it’s with a computer, a server or a network. He’s the man you call when you need something fixed. And need it fixed now. With a plethora of technical knowledge about Information Technology, Craig works at his best when solving IT problems for MBM customers. Multi-tasking hands-on support via phone, email, live-chat or face to face, Craig is the Team’s key trouble-shooter: researching technical issues, resolving problems and fixing IT glitches.
The Face – aka Ben Cutler
The smooth-talking, customer-facing member of the Team who’s at his happiest when helping to resolve customer’s IT problems. Working closely with The Fixer, Ben is the newest member of the MBM Team, but is firmly establishing his place as a key member. He’s also a man-about-town and, when not solving IT issues, can be found at business networking events exploiting possible opportunities and new assignments for the Team.
